Alaska Airlines have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a Thales built B737NG from Atlanta to Seattle, USA.

December 2005
CAE Montreal have contracted Rotran to install a Reflectone built A340 simulator and a CAE built B747-400 simulator at the CAE Burgess Hill training centre in the UK.

October 2005
Rotran have been awarded a contract to relocate the WestJet RSL built B737-200 simulator currently located in Calgary, Canada. Rotran have previously relocated this simulator for Westjet from Tokyo, Japan to Calgary, Canada in 2000.

Alteon Training have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate an FSI built B757-200 simulator from the Miami training centre to the Gatwick, UK training centre. As part of the relocation Rotran will also implement a power and frequency conversion change.

Rotran and Q4 have been contracted to a carry out a mylar mirror re-skin on a 180 degree mirror at the CAE facility in Santiago, Chile.  

Kalitta Air have awarded a contract to Rotran to relocate a fixed base CAE built 747 device to their new facility in Detroit, USA and install as a full flight simulator.

September 2005
Pakistan International Airlines have awarded a contract to Rotran to relocate a Link manufactured 747-200 AST simulator from the Qantas flight training centre in Sydney, Australia to the PIA flight training centre in Karachi, Pakistan. The full turn key relocation includes Rotran conducting baseline checks and commissioning in Karachi.

Rotran have been contracted to dismantle and pack for sea freight an ex- American Airlines 767 simulator located in St Louis, USA.  

Rotran and Q4 have carried out a mylar mirror re-skin for GE Commercial Finance Aviation Training on a TT&S built 757 C2000X simulator in Miami, USA.

August 2005  
Gulf Air have selected Rotran for the relocation of their flight simulator training centre in Doha, Qatar to their newly built centre in Bahrain. This major relocation contract includes the relocation of a TT&S built A320-200, TT&S built A330-340 and a TT&S built 767-300ER. All the simulators will be relocated simultaneously.

GE Commercial Finance Aviation Training have awarded another contract to Rotran to dismantle and pack for sea freight a TT&S built A300-600 / A310-300 simulator located at the London Heathrow training centre.

Alteon Training LLC have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a CAE built 737-300 simulator from their Alteon Training Centre in Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain to their Alteon Training Centre in Crawley, UK.

United Airlines and Evergreen have awarded a contract to Rotran to relocate a CAE built 747-200 simulator from Rome, Italy to the United Airlines Training Centre in Denver, Colorado, USA


Virgin Atlantic and Wightlea have contracted Rotran to remove the cockpit and control system from an Airbus A300 simulator and install the equipment in the Virgin Atlantic Building, London, UK

Airbus have awarded Rotran a contract to dismantle and install a TT&S built A320 simulator, the simulator will be relocated from Airbus, Toulouse, France to the Chinese Flight Academy in Guanghan, China.


MK Airlines have contracted Rotran to relocate a Link Miles 747-200 simulator from the GE Commercial Finance, Aviation Training building in Crawley, UK to the MK Airlines newly built site in East Sussex, UK.

GE Capital Aviation Training Ltd have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a Thales built B757/767 Concept 90 simulator from the GE Capital Aviation Training site near Heathrow, London to the GE Capital Aviation Training centre at Gatwick, UK.

GE Capital Aviation Training Ltd (Hong Kong) have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a Thales built and recently updated A320 simulator with a Seos visual system from Heathrow, London to the GE Capital Aviation Training (HK) facility, Cathay Pacific City, Hong Kong.


Rotran have signed an agreement with SEOS Ltd to support visual display system installation on Civil and Military simulators worldwide.

ST Training & Simulation PTE Ltd have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a Reflectone built full flight simulator from Singapore to Islamabad, Pakistan. The full turnkey relocation includes the simulator being transported by airfreight in an Antonov 124 aircraft.

Airbus has requested the services of Rotran to carry out Mylar Mirror Cleaning on all their visual systems at the Miami Springs Training Centre, USA.

FlightSafetyBoeing have awarded Rotran one of the largest relocation contracts ever awarded within the industry to relocate 9 full flight simulators. The relocations will take place in 2003 and 2004 within the USA, Australia and Asia the devices include Flight Safety International and CAE simulators.

FlightSafetyBoeing have awarded Rotran a contract for the full turnkey relocation of a CAE built 747-200 simulator from Inchon, Korea to the FSB centre in Kunming, China. The relocation includes a power change and the simulator will be shipped in an Antonov AN124 Aircraft.

Rotran have also been contracted to assist with the design of the new facility.

Rotran have been awarded a contract to relocate a 737-200 AST Full Flight Simulator from the US Airways Training Centre in Pittsburgh to the new America West Training Facility in Phoenix, USA.

Atlas Air have awarded a contract to Rotran Simulator Logistics for the relocation of a Link manufactured 747-200 AST FFS from the Northwest Airlines facility in Eagan, Minnesota to Miami, USA.

SEOS have contracted Rotran to support with labour only a visual contract in North Carolina, USA.

Cofco Credit Company LLC have awarded Rotran Simulator Logistics a contract to dismantle and pack for storage a FSI manufactured King Air C90 FFS and a Beech 1900D Trainer in Denver and position in a storage facility in Phoenix, USA.

August 2002  
GE Capital Aviation Training Ltd have awarded Rotran Simulator Logistics a contract to relocate a TT&S manufactured A320 C2000 FFS from their Training Centre near Gatwick, UK to the Aero Madrid facility located in Madrid, Spain.

Rotran Simulator Logistics have now completed the full turnkey relocation contract for America West Airlines in Phoenix, USA. In total six Full Flight Simulators were relocated and commissioned within budget and ahead of schedule and a further eight training devices were also relocated within budget and ahead of schedule. This contact is one of the largest relocation contracts ever awarded within the industry.

Rotran have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

This is the most prestigious award in British Industry.

Rotran's Managing Director, Roger Stockwell, attended the awards ceremony on April the 22nd at the Department of Trade and Industry. HRH Prince Andrew presented the award.

European Aviation Air Charter have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a CAE manufactured B747 Combi Full Flight Simulator from the British Airways Training facility near Heathrow to the European Aviation Air Charter Training Centre near Bournemouth UK. This will be the fifth simulator Rotran have relocated for European Aviation Air Charter.

Rotran are proud to announce that Andy Wilson has joined the company as Programmes Director.

Andy has many years of experience in the industry and worked for Rediffussion / Thales Training and Simulation for over 21 Years where he was involved in al aspects of design, manufacturing and installation of flight Simulators.
He spent his last 10 years in the installation department as a project manager before becoming the installation Manager, specialising in the site installations, relocations, updates and the planning and installation of all TT&S full flight simulators.

America West Airlines has awarded Rotran the contract to relocate six "full flight" simulators and eight further training devices from various sites located in the US to their new Training Centre in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is one of the largest simulator relocation contracts ever awarded and is due to start in January 2002.

CAE Inc has awarded Rotran a contract to install a CAE A330/A340 at the Boeing Flight Safety Training Centre, Manchester, UK.

Rotran has now moved to its new Headquarters (shown above) at Priory Business Park, Bedfordshire in the UK

Pan Am Flight Academy has contracted Rotran to install a B727 and DC10 "full flight" simulator in Miami, Florida, USA

GE Capital Aviation Training have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a TTSL C2000 737NG with MK2 motion system. The simulator is to be relocated from the GECAT Training Centre, London Heathrow to their training centre which is situated within Cathay Pacific's Training Centre, Hong Kong. The simulator will be installed on the third floor.  

Work on Rotran’s new UK headquarters is advancing with completion due in November 2001


September 2001  
United Airlines has awarded Rotran a contract to dismantle, Pack and Transport two "full flight" Simulators from its Denver training centre USA. The simulators are a CAE DC10 and a CAE B727 the contract is due to commence in December 2001.

Thales Training & Simulation have awarded Rotran a contract to install a wide visual system as part of an update at the Thai Airways training centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

Thales Training & Simulation have renewed their contract with Rotran which enables us to market and carry out (TT&S) mirror reskins within North America.

Thales Training & Simulation have awarded Rotran a contract to assist Evans & Sutherland in a major update on the Sea Harrier Full Flight Simulator at RNAS Yeovilton. The contract included updating the simulator with a dome visual system.

Thales Training and simulation have contracted Rotran to dismantle a KC10 Full Flight Simulator in their factory in Crawley, UK and Install in the USA.


July 2001  
Thales Training & Simulation have awarded Rotran a contract to relocate a TT & S built B737 FFS from Asiana Airlines Training Centre in Seoul, Korea to their new centre on the outskirts of Seoul. The relocation is scheduled to complete by November 2001.
